we need more books that are written like YA novels but have characters in their 20s… like I can’t keep reading books about teenagers but I’m also not ready for the weird adult romance section of the book store
I knew that I didn’t want to be in that whole… meat market. Competition makes me very nervous, so I didn’t bite anybody’s ankle to get the part, I just said “give me a chance to read for it”… I still get nervous, very nervous, if I have to audition. It was a hard thing to commit to because I didn’t think it was a serious way to spend your life, and one that would help the world.
